Made in Sussex
This exciting development was sponsored as part of the East Sussex Area Investment Framework. An extension of ArtsinSussex, MadeinSussex promotes the work of talented artists and makers based in the County. Made in Sussex will help visitors interested in cultural Sussex not only to visit their favourite historic properties, gardens and festivals, but also to visit studios, workshops and galleries to buy locally produced art and craft whilst they are here.
The artists and makers who are part of this project benefit from skills development in areas which will help them to increase their sales and promotion. Once the pilot is completed it is intended to roll out Made in Sussex from Rye to Chichester including Brighton & Hove – bringing artists closer to visitors and encouraging more economic activity as a direct result.
